Description:
The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter is designed to connect a Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt-compatible computer or graphics card to an HDTV, monitor, or projector with an HDMI port; a separate HDMI cable (sold separately) is required.
Mini DP to HDMI adapter transmits both audio and video over a single cable; supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and 1080p (Full HD), and flawless audio pass-thru for uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2 channel audio.
Extend or mirror your laptop/PC screen to a second monitor for an expanded workspace, home theater, or to display presentations on a projector at the office, school, or home. With a built-in chip, it is not bi-directional, it can only convert the signal from a Mini DisplayPort on a computer to HDMI displays.
Gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transfer and corrosion resistance; does not work with Surface/Surface 2 for Windows RT.
