The Sonoff S-MATE module (also available in versions such as S-MATE Extreme and S-MATE2) is a battery-powered switch module that allows you to integrate ordinary wall switches (rocker or momentary switches) into the Sonoff smart home system. It is particularly useful when no neutral wire is available in the wall box.

🛠 How it Works / Usage
◆ Install the S-MATE device behind your existing wall switch. It connects in a way that makes the external switch a remote input for the smart system.
◆ It communicates wirelessly (via eWeLink Remote protocol) to a gateway device, which in turn controls your smart devices.
◆ No neutral wire needed - this is one of its main advantages for retrofit scenarios.
◆ The DIP switches inside allow switching between rocker or momentary mode, adapting to different switch types.
◆ You can use it to trigger smart scenes / control devices in eWeLink based on your wall switch presses.
