How do I use Bison Polymax adhesive?
Use only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C
The surface must be clean, dust-free and dry to achieve maximum adhesion.
Glue and installation: Apply the sealant in lines or dots (every 10-40 cm), as well as at the corner points and along the edges of the sheet material, always.
Place the material within 10 minutes and press it down firmly or press it down lightly with a rubber mallet.
If necessary, secure or fix heavy materials for 4 hours.
After 30 minutes, the joint became strong enough for transport or light loading.
Maximum final strength after approximately 4 hours, depending on the substrate (at least one porous material) and surrounding conditions.
Sealing: Apply sealant evenly to the bottom of the joint and smooth it in within 10 minutes using a wet putty knife (soap water without lemon), a sealant brush, or your finger.
Smooth vertical joints from bottom to top.
The complete treatment takes place after a few days (depending on the thickness of the layer).
When repainting with alkyd paints, the paint may dry more slowly.
Use white spirit to remove any remaining wet glue.
