Instructions for using the Joycoo Blood Glucose Meter
You should follow the instructions included with your blood glucose meter, but in general, here's how to read a blood glucose meter test:
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly, as food residue and other substances on your finger can give you an inaccurate reading.
Make sure the device is turned on.
Insert a test strip into the blood glucose meter.
Prick the side of your finger with the lancet provided with the test kit.
Touch and hold the blood drop with the test strip inserted into the device.
The blood glucose meter will display the level on the screen after a few seconds.
You can store this information for future use and to compare it with previous readings. Some blood glucose meters can tell you your average blood sugar level over a period of time and display charts and graphs of previous test results.
It is worth noting that test strips are for single use only, while lancets may be used a few times for one person. However, the needle must be changed if another person wants to use the device to measure blood sugar to avoid transmitting some diseases through blood droplets from one person to another.
