Prepare and wet surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust-free, and tightly fitted. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass, and some plastics, roughen the material to give the glue something to bite into. Lightly moisten one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly moisten both surfaces before gluing.
- Apply Gorilla Glue evenly to the dry surface. Apply carefully to the dry surface. Do not over-apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush.
- Clamp the surfaces tightly together. Make sure the clamping pressure is evenly distributed across the surface. Or, if you don't have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape to achieve proper clamping pressure. Clamp items for 1-2 hours. For best results, wait 24 hours for curing.

Cleaning: If you need to remove any wet "squeezed out" uncured glue, we recommend wiping it with a dry cloth or using a regular paint thinner. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: try sanding, chiseling, scraping, or picking.

Storage tips: After each use, wipe the bottle cap and nozzle with a dry cloth. While pressing, close the cap tightly and then store in a cool, dry place. You should expect a shelf life of one year.
