Description

The Fume Hood (model (FH700)) from BIOBASE. This professional, compact device is specially designed to protect the user and the surrounding environment within microbiology laboratories and for light chemical research. The hood relies on intelligent airflow engineering that isolates the work area with negative pressure, preventing the leakage of any gases or contaminated particles to the outside. It efficiently draws out generated fumes through a built-in, speed-adjustable centrifugal blower and passes them through advanced filters.

The hood features exceptional manufacturing quality; the main body is made of 1.0 mm thick cold-rolled steel coated with an antibacterial powder, while the workbench is made of highly chemical-resistant phenolic resin. The front is equipped with 5 mm thick tempered glass windows on the back and sides to ensure excellent visibility and clear natural light, along with a foldable acrylic front window with a free-stop function for ease of use. The device is controlled by a precise microprocessor with a convenient LED digital display, a smart memory function to save settings in case of power failure, and a mechanical interference safety system to protect the eyes when selecting the UV sterilization lamp.

Important Note: Experiments using very strong acids and alkalis, or highly flammable and explosive materials, cannot be conducted with this type of fume hood.
