Instructions for using the Joycoo Blood Glucose Monitor
You should follow the instructions provided with your glucose meter, but generally, here's how to read a glucose meter measurement:
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly, as food residues and other substances on your finger can give you an inaccurate reading.
Make sure the device is turned on.
Insert the test strip into the glucose meter.
Prick the side of your finger with the lancing device provided with the test kit.
Touch and hold the blood drop to the test strip inserted into the device.
The glucose meter will display a level on the screen after a few seconds.
It is worth noting that test strips are for single use only, while lancets may be used a few times for the same person. However, the needle must be changed if another person wants to use the device to measure blood sugar to avoid transmitting infections of some diseases through blood droplets from one person to another.
