The importance of checking the measurements before installation: Compatibility: Make sure the hose diameter matches the washing machine outlet and drain opening to avoid leaks or blockages. Suitable length: Choose a length that allows for a comfortable fit between the washing machine and the drain outlet without excessive tension or sagging. Flexibility: A hose made of flexible materials such as PVC is preferred for ease of extension and passage behind appliances or around tight corners. How to check the sizes: Measuring the washing machine outlet: Use a ruler or measuring tape to determine the diameter of the rear drain outlet. Measuring the drain opening or pipe: Make sure the diameter matches the other end of the hose. Specify the required length: Measure the actual distance between the washing machine and the drain, and add a slack margin (10–20 cm) to ensure flexibility during installation. Set contents (example): Drainage hose length 1.5m / 2m / 3m (as required) Extension fitting/hose connector Metal or plastic mounting clip Sealed packaging to protect it from contamination Additional tips: When extending the hose, use a reliable connector and ensure a tight seal to prevent leakage. Universal drain hoses can be used, but it is always best to check the washing machine's user manual. Keep the drainage path slightly sloping to facilitate water flow.
